Your personal information is only shared with a third party when you have authorized us to do so and/or they complete various services on our behalf such as credit card processing by Paypal.
Our website uses “cookies” and web server logs to collect information about how our website is used so that we can make informed decisions on how to improve our website to ensure we are meeting your needs. Each time a user browses our website, our web server collects only the user’s domain name or IP address.
When users are browsing our website, we allow third party companies to provide ads and/or collect anonymous information. These third parties may use “cookies” or other methods to collect information during your visit to our website that is of an impersonal nature in order to show you advertisements on other websites that may be of interest to you. Some of the information gathered may include, but is not limited to, browser type, click stream information, time, and date.
Sending an Email
The email addresses of our advertisers and home owners are kept confidential to minimize spam. In order to send an email to an advertiser or home owner, the user is required to use the contact forms provided. The user’s IP address is logged.
Email communications through our website's contact forms are shared with us. We use this process to monitor for abuse from users and/or unwanted solicitation that our home owners and advertisers might receive. These shared emails are deleted on a monthly basis.
Purchasing an Ad or Listing
When you purchase an ad or listing on our website we do not receive or store your credit card information. Your purchase is made on line through Paypal, the most secure, trusted, and recognized on line credit card processor. Should you require us to process your credit card payment manually, we do so through Paypal. Once your purchase has been approved, we shred your credit card information. We do log the transaction processes, including billing and shipping addresses, contact information, order numbers, and the authentication of your purchase.
When you list your home or property on our website, you provide us with detailed information to create your ad including, but not limited to, asking price, contact information, features, location, photos, and property details. This information is publicly disclosed on our website and is used to attract potential buyers. The information you provide is compiled in our database to create reports but is not used to identify you personally. When your home or property is sold we request that you provide us with the sale price so that we may include it in our database. The information compiled in our database is never sold to a third party.
When you purchase an ad or listing on our website you provide us with your contact information. You authorize us to publicly display your contact information on our website as part of your advertisement, or in the case of a testimonial provided by you, in the promotion and marketing of our website and our company. Your email address is protected through the use of contact forms to mitigate the spam that you may receive. Once you respond to an email that you received through our website, be aware that your email address will then be visible to the recipient. You may modify your contact information or property details at any time by logging into our website using your username and password. Alternatively, you may contact us to make those changes for you.
Copies of invoices, communication, and other paperwork that may contain personal information is kept as part of our financial records for seven years as required by law.
We may disclose personal information when required by law or to protect our rights or to protect the rights of our advertisers and/or other users of our website.
