Buckley Bay is located on the east coast of Vancouver Island, approximately 20 kilometres south of Courtenay in the Comox Valley. It is the home of the BC Ferry terminal for Denman Island. Buckley Bay is a small seaside community of 175 permanent residents.

Buckley Bay is a great area for canoeing or kayaking. The beaches are known for their plentiful oysters and clams. If you are not up to digging your own there is a seafood shop located at the ferry terminal. 

Buckley Bay has minimal services, limited to a convenience store and gas station. All the services you require are just a short drive away in Courtenay.
